| So I've been sitting here, reading through pages and pages and years and years worth of depressing, emo, obsessive entries, filled with false hope and heartache. Although they tell a good story, I could not be more thrilled to FINALLY say that I have OFFICIALLY MOVED ON! FOREVER.
It is so the best thing.
Wanna know why?
I have a boyfriend. His name is Matt, and he is better than your boyfriend. Dixi.

| oh xanga,
i miss you. i know i've said soooo many times that i'd start writing (or rather, as it seems to have been the dominating format of my xanga expression in the past, posting bits and pieces of song lyrics) here again... but this time, i think i mean it. stay tuned.
until we meet again, mel

| Up where they walk, up where they run Up where they stay all day in the sun Wanderin' free - wish I could be Part of that world
What would I give if I could live out of these waters? What would I pay to spend a day warm on the sand? Bet'cha on land they understand That they don't reprimand their daughters Bright young women sick of swimmin' Ready to stand... | | |
| so i might actually start writing here again.
maybe.

| Well, I've survived the first half of fish year in the Aggie Band/Corps of Cadets... but more on that later... maybe.
I just had an urge to post lyrics of the day, so here we go =)
from Natalie Imbruglia's "Torn"
I thought I saw a man brought to life He was warm, he came around and he was dignified He showed me what it was to cry
Well, you couldn't be that man I adored You don't seem to know Seem to care what your heart is for But I don't know him anymore
So I guess the fortune teller's right Should have seen just what was there And not some holy light
It crawled beneath my veins And now I don't care, I had no luck I don't miss it all that much...
Never saw that coming, did you?
Nope. That's okay, I didn't either. But it's a good thing... I think.
Yeah, it is. | | |
